took another small step forward to follow up his reappearance success; chased leader, shaken up 2f out, edged right around 1f out, showed a good attitude to lead final 50 yds; this was a weak race for the grade, but he's still low mileage and could have a bit more to come if getting a clear run at things this autumn (well suited by ground softer than good).

after just 7 days off, again ran well and that was almost enough to see him gain by far his most prestigious win, albeit in a weak race for the level; dictated, quickened under 3f out, edged right around 1f out, headed final 50 yds, had the run of the race; going through a good spell at the moment and should continue in form.

wasn't in the same form as last time, this sort of scenario perhaps not suiting as well as the big-field/strong gallop he had at York; dwelt, waited with, pushed along 2f out, kept on; he only has one win to his name since 2019 and will probably remain hard to place in the short term.

has been knocking on the door at this sort of level this year but, after 7 weeks off, wasted what looked a good opportunity to gain a first win in pattern company, and it could be that he doesn't handle this quirky track (ran poorly previous start here as well); prominent, pushed along over 2f out, not quicken.

after 3 months off, went backwards from reappearance; in rear, shaken up under 3f out, never dangerous.

A poor turnout for this Group 2 contest, and with the pair of standard-setters both below par, Jadoomi needed to run to just a smart level, leading home a 1-2 for the Crisford yard; the gallop was on the steady side.

JADOOMI (FR) took another small step forward to follow up his reappearance success; chased leader, shaken up 2f out, edged right around 1f out, showed a good attitude to lead final 50 yds; this was a weak race for the grade, but he's still low mileage and could have a bit more to come if getting a clear run at things this autumn (well suited by ground softer than good).
