A glorified 0-140 but a competitive one on paper, a couple - including one of the 4 southern raiders - looking open to improvement, though in the end nothing could get by front-running course regular Indian Temple.

INDIAN TEMPLE (IRE) proved at least as good as ever in winning on this card for a third year in a row, bagging the big one this time, proving his stamina for 3m once and for all; led, jumped well, tackled after 3 out, held on gamely despite rider dropping whip on run-in.

GET OUT THE GATE (IRE) found this a bridge too far, carrying top weight in a more competitive scenario than for his 2 recent chase wins, but there's still plenty of time for him to do better over fences; mid-field, lost ground before 4 out, switched entering straight, no threat after 3 out.
