A useful renewal of this Group 3, a pair that had been placed in a listed race here earlier in the year having it between them from 2f out.

SUMIHA (IRE) went one better than last time, a reproduction of her Curragh form enough to see her home in front on this occasion; waited with, smooth headway out wide home turn, challenged 2f out, went on entering final 1f, responded well; not yet fully exposed and remains open to improvement.

TREVAUNANCE (IRE) turned in best effort of the season, given an easy time of things in the lead but picked off by a stronger stayer having done plenty in the early stages; made running, raced freely, tackled 2f out, headed final 1f, no extra.

SCARLETT O'HARA (FR) back in cheekpieces, stepped up on reappearance run, plausible she might benefit from a more severe form of headgear; held up, went in snatches, had to wait for gap early in straight, outpaced soon after, kept on well final 1f.

GREENFINCH (USA) upped markedly in trip, failed to improve going beyond 7f for the first time; mid-field, ridden 3f out, one paced.

NOSTRINGSATTACHED (IRE) just about coped with the step up in grade and trip; in rear, pushed along approaching home turn, late headway.

THUNDER ROLL (IRE) after 7 weeks off, failed to confirm reappearance form with several of these, including the winner; mid-field, ridden over 2f out, weakened approaching final 1f.

JOUPE (IRE) found this too competitive; chased leader, left behind early in straight.
