made up into a smart performer in Ireland before being sold for 300,000 gns and wasn't fully extended to come out on top making all-weather debut on first outing since leaving P. Twomey after 5 months off, quickening up in good style, looking the type to be suited by Australian racing (due to head straight into quarantine for a trip there); prominent, travelled well, quickened to lead over 1f out, went clear final 1f, had plenty in hand; will remain of plenty of interest.

had it all on with the impressive winner but more or less backed up previous effort without having the race run to suit; held up, headway out wide 2f out, ridden 1f out, kept on, needs the emphasis more on stamina; likely to continue in form.

ran a cracker in a much better race, even allowing for the fact this was a muddling contest, his proximity having met trouble in running showing he's got lots to offer at this trip; mid-field, travelled well, good headway 2f out, short of room over 1f out, kept on.

hasn't stood much racing in recent times but shaped better than the bare result returning from 10 months off in a race he won last year and ought to come on for the outing; dwelt, held up, pulled hard, headway over 1f out, weakened last ½f, would have benefited from a stronger gallop; not one to write off.

Although the pace was only modest this had the make up of a useful contest, several regulars in this type of event involved, though it was a classy convert from turf that quickened up best to make a taking start for new connections.
