was all the rage in the betting beforehand and did well to reverse form with one that got first run on her to a degree, still green when initially asked for her effort but picking up well having had to come round the front pair; held up, headway under pressure 2f out, forced to switch approaching final 1f, quickened to lead final strides; she's open to more improvement and will take plenty of beating in the Albany.

ran well without quite being able to confirm debut form with the winner, still very much one to be positive about; tracked pace, effort over 1f out, led briefly final 1f, headed near line; remains open to improvement.

had clearly learnt plenty from debut and looks a smart sprinter in the making, worn down by a couple of stronger stayers having displayed a striking turn of foot to take her clear; mid-field, headway 2f out, quickened clear approaching final 1f, collared final 100 yds, no extra close home; better to come.

found this too competitive on just her second start, still looking in need of the experience; held up, stumbled around halfway, left behind from 2f out.

A well up-to-scratch renewal of a Group 3 for fillies that has produced the last 2 winners of the Albany, a pair that had finished 1-2 in a recent course maiden fighting out a good finish, Fairy Godmother turning around that form with a bit to spare and looking all set to take high rank amongst this season's bunch of juveniles.

FAIRY GODMOTHER (IRE) was all the rage in the betting beforehand and did well to reverse form with one that got first run on her to a degree, still green when initially asked for her effort but picking up well having had to come round the front pair; held up, headway under pressure 2f out, forced to switch approaching final 1f, quickened to lead final strides; she's open to more improvement and will take plenty of beating in the Albany.

SPARKLING SEA (IRE) ran well without quite being able to confirm debut form with the winner, still very much one to be positive about; tracked pace, effort over 1f out, led briefly final 1f, headed near line; remains open to improvement.

CALIFORNIA DREAMER had clearly learnt plenty from debut and looks a smart sprinter in the making, worn down by a couple of stronger stayers having displayed a striking turn of foot to take her clear; mid-field, headway 2f out, quickened clear approaching final 1f, collared final 100 yds, no extra close home; better to come.

BARNAVARA (IRE) couldn't immediately improve on her debut form only 13 days on; made running, took strong hold, shaken up 2f out, headed over 1f out, weakened.

PROUDLY YOURS (IRE) coped well with the step up in grade; close up, outpaced soon after halfway, kept on again final 1f; remains open to improvement.

USDI ATOHI (IRE) found this too competitive on just her second start, still looking in need of the experience; held up, stumbled around halfway, left behind from 2f out.
