resumed winning ways under a well-executed ride, the return to a more galloping track helping to eke out the necessary improvement; chased leaders, pushed along briefly end of back straight, produced to lead entering final 1f, carried head bit awkwardly, pushed out; unlikely to go up much for this and will remain of interest.

A useful handicap that went the way the market predicted, Natural Scenery landing the odds with a bit more up her sleeve than the winning margin would suggest; Watersmeet set what seemed a fair gallop.

NATURAL SCENERY resumed winning ways under a well-executed ride, the return to a more galloping track helping to eke out the necessary improvement; chased leaders, pushed along briefly end of back straight, produced to lead entering final 1f, carried head bit awkwardly, pushed out; unlikely to go up much for this and will remain of interest.

MASTERPAVER ran right up to his very best, had every chance on this occasion; close up, headway over 1f out, kept on but the winner was always holding him.

WATERSMEET ran at least as well in defeat as when winning the time before, the drop back in trip finding him out; made running, headed over 1f out, kept on again final 50 yds; will prove suited by a return to 1¾m.

ROYAL MARSKELL turned in another creditable effort, without carrying much of a win threat in a race not run to suit; held up, headway early in straight, kept on, left poorly placed.

BARYE wasn't disgraced, has little in hand from present mark; mid-division, headway over 2f out, one paced.
