followed up back into listed company after 9 days off and looks better than ever now, responding gamely to pressure inside the final 1f having been given a good ride from the front by De Sousa; made all, pushed along over 2f out, dug deep under pressure, had the run of the race.

well backed, is only just starting out for this yard and should prove up to winning something similar but the way this unfolded didn't look to play to his strengths, taking time to settle and then pick up for pressure, worth noting that some of his best efforts for former yard came when allowed to stride on; in touch, raced freely, ridden over 1f out, kept on.

was friendless in the betting but wasn't altogether disgraced back up in trip, especially given a strongly-run contest suits his style best; slowly into stride, in rear, late headway, left poorly placed.

No great pace on for this listed contest and De Sousa gave the winner a good ride from the front, only really having Di Fede to see off inside the final 1f, the favourite back in third taking a long time to get organised having raced freely early on.
