strong in the betting, built on his already impressive start for the yard, making light work of a 6 lb rise for his recent Southwell win; tracked pace, travelled smoothly, quickened to lead over 1f out, comfortably; he's still low mileage for his age, whilst also not yet exposed for his current yard after just the 3 runs, so should take all the beating in his hat-trick bid.

was easy to back after 7 months off but matched the pick of his form in for Fabrice Chappet (bought for €50,000); mid-division, travelled better than most, had to wait for gap briefly early in straight, shaken up over 1f out, kept on.

A useful contest that developed into something of a sprint from the home turn, the progressive favourite quickening up best and scoring with plenty in hand.

BOBBY BENNU (IRE) quickly had the headgear taken off but again ran well despite not being ideally placed and doing enough to think he has races in him from this revised mark; slowly into stride, in rear, took keen hold, outpaced home turn, ran on.
